| Message: | IMPORTANT: The start - stop time has been changed to 8:00 AM. We will stay at 3 Gallons Per Minute for this 1 Day turn. AMMENDMENT:The new town irrigation system MIGHT have water all winter for those who water animals. BUT there is no guarentee of water being available all winter. Freeze ups and breakages could occure. IF YOU need to water animals, you may need to use Town Culinary water. You are responsible to winterize your system. This is done by turning off the Stop & Waste Value. If you have questions or need help with this please let me know. Those who have a negative (-) Gallons Available, it is company policy that you turn off and stay off until you have positive Gallons Available. Failure to do so could result in a lock down of your meters and a $100.00 fee per meter to get turned back on. Usage is the water that you used for last turn which ended at 6:00 AM. The meters were read at that time, but not all readings are coming in at that time, and we have to use the closest to it, which can be several hours different. This is a problem that is being worked on, but may take some time to fix. The new turn started at 6:00 AM and shows the Available Gallons. However we are several hours into the turn before this information can become available. You must take into concideration that we have this lag time. We are sorry about this and are tring to shorten the time. Please be patient with us, as we work out the various bugs in the system. Here is some basic information in understanding this Water Notice. Gallons Per Minute: This number is what we use to determine how much water is allowed for the turn. It is the amount that 1 share gets for each minute of the turn. Every share gets an equal amount of water. This amount will change from time to time and will affect how much water you get. As it increases or decreases, you will need to make adjustments in your usage. Previous Read: This is the reading of the meter at the beginning of last turn. Present Read: This is the reading at the end of last turn and the beginning of the new turn. Usage: This is how much water you used for last turn. Percent: This is the percentage of how much water you used from what was available to you last turn. Adjusted Gallons: If this is a positive number, it is an amount of some or all of the water that you didn't use and are allowed to carry over to the new turn. This can be as much as 30% of what was available to you. If you used between 70% - 100%, the water that you didn't use is carried over to the new turn. If this is a negative number, it is the amount that is taken from your new turn because of using more than allowed. If you used between 100% - 130% you lose 1 gallon for every 1 gallon over. Anything over 130% is the loss of 3 gallons for every 1 gallon. Available Gallons: This is the total number of gallons available to you for the new turn. Alan Paystrup - Water Master 623-0593
